Preparing To Ship

  • Your artwork will be delivered to Taos Crating for packing and shipping. Taos Crating is an independent professional business specializing in shipping fine art. Taos Crating will contact you directly once your artwork is packed to provide you with shipping & insurance options and verify your shipping information once payment is verified.

  • Larger pieces, or pieces with custom framing will also be delivered to Taos Crating for packing and shipping. Fames for larger pieces or custom frames may require several weeks to be constructed and delivered. Once your piece is securely packed, Taos Crating will reach out to you directly to present shipping and insurance options, confirm your shipping details, and arrange for payment. We look forward to ensuring your artwork arrives safely and securely! â€‹

  • All artwork includes complimentary professional packing

Costs, Payment and Delivery

  • Artwork up to 11"x14" with an artist selected frame will include free shipping in the contiguous 48-United States and insurance coverage.

​

  • Artwork with custom framing, larger than 11"x14", or with an address outside of the lower-48 will still include complimentary professional packing, but the collector will be responsible for the actual cost of shipping & insurance.

  • Purchases of artwork over 11"x14" and any artwork with custom framing includes packing only. Insurance and shipping are paid by the collector.

Framing Options

Frames Ready-to-Hang

  • Framing is important for presenting and protecting your artwork. A frame should complement the aesthetic of your home and the artwork, without becoming the center of attention.

 

  • You may select to have your new artwork shipped without the frame and choose your own. This option will decrease shipping costs and purchase price. Framed paintings are shipped ready to hang.

  • Artwork measuring up to 11"x14” includes an artist-selected frame unless you prefer a custom frame, as well as  free shipping within the contiguous 48 United States. If your artwork features custom framing, exceeds 11"x14", or is being shipped outside of the lower 48 states, complimentary professional packing will still be provided, but you will be responsible for the actual shipping costs.

  • Large pieces are best displayed with a high quality, often hand-carved custom frame, usually with gold leaf. Should you prefer that option please contact me directly to discuss options. This option will incur an additional charge determined by the cost of the frame and installation as well as the inconvenience of waiting for a custom frame.
